Reduced & 0.5% Alcohol Solutions
Australian Vintage is an industry leader in the production of quality, varietally true reduced and low alcohol wine solutions. Our reduced and low alcohol division – Austflavor – has an established track record of branded and private label success, and is committed to driving the ‘health and wellbeing’ category in the global market place.
Boasting Australia’s most technologically advanced spinning cone column – installed in 2013 – Austflavor has a competitive advantage over other wine producers as our technology reduces alcohol at 42°C rather than the industry standard 60°C and is therefore ‘gentler’ on the wine retaining more varietal fruit character, aromatics and flavour.
This is currently the only spinning cone column dedicated to the production of lower alcohol wines in Australia. In addition to technology, Austflavor is committed to an ongoing review of fruit selection, yeasts, fermentation temperatures and oak integration to create a more flavoursome wine before using the spinning cone column technology.
