Packaging

As we've grown in both the domestic and export markets, so to has our packaging capabilities. All of Australian Vintage's packaging and distribution for both the Australian and international markets are managed from our packaging facility based at Merbein, located on the outskirts of Mildura in North West Victoria.

Merbein Packaging is a complete facility, with wine tank farms, storage facilities for all product and five processing lines with the capability to bottle products from table wine through to fortifieds and casks. The facility is also equipped with purpose built warehouses which are designed to aid the loading and unloading of product and raw materials. The facility is currently 'fed' from the two main production wineries within the group: Buronga Winery based in NSW and Yaldara Winery based in South Australia.

Merbein Packaging is also dedicated to the on-going sustainability of natural resources.  We have purpose built filtration and reticulation systems designed to minimise water use and recycle whenever possible.
 
Forward thinking in the building and layout of the facility is allowing Merbein Packaging to expand to meet future packaging and distribution needs for Australian Vintage.
